estern Wyoming is adorned with some of the finest freestone trout fisheries in the United States. A large portion of the “Golden Ring of Trout” lies within this region and includes some of the better known rivers of the Northern Rockies, like the Snake and Green Rivers and their numerous tributaries. 

The native game fish to this region are the Yellowstone, Snake River Finespotted and Colorado Cutthroats, as well as the whitefish. The rivers here are headwaters to the west’s well known giants and are nourished with clean water from the massive mountain ranges that abound in the region surrounding Jackson Hole.
